On your wedding day, I will be with you during very personal and intimate moments, and I will be responsible for the memories you will cherish of this special day.
For this reason, I will constantly walk the fine line between not interfering in the course of events and ensuring you don’t miss a single detail.
To achieve this, 90% of the photography I do is documentary, spontaneous, and natural, where I’ll be careful not to miss any detail and you’ll only have to worry about enjoying yourself with your loved ones.
And to be more efficient, a few days before the wedding I’ll send you a form so you can tell me your details and preferences.
We’ll leave everything discussed and planned and then let it flow.
GETTING READY
Getting ready is a roller coaster of emotions, a very intimate moment where some people may not feel comfortable having a photographer at home, which is why when booking, I give you the option to “Arrangements yes”/”Arrangements no.”
But I sincerely say: Don’t miss them! And I’ll give you four reasons to say “Yes” to the Arrangements:
- It’s the perfect opportunity to take some very special photos with the family and/or friends you’ve chosen to be with you during this intimate moment.
- There will likely be details in your clothing, shoes, accessories… full of symbolism, some with great stories behind them…
- And if that’s not the case, you’ll surely like to keep graphic evidence of all those details in which you have invested so much time, energy, and money.
- It will usually be an individual moment, which you will experience separately, and you will love seeing how your partner experienced those moments.
CEREMONY
I believe the most important and intense moment on your wedding day is your meeting with all your people.
Looks to capture, rituals, gestures, guests, children, bridesmaids, congratulations… Hundreds of stories to tell in just a few minutes.
REPORT OF THE RECENTLY MARRIED COUPLE
You’ll surely want to have some nice photographs of the newlyweds.
And while the guests are moving to the cocktail party is the ideal time to make them.
We’ll agree on the amount of time you’d like to spend on that session a few days beforehand.
I respect that you can enjoy the cocktail with your guests.
Throughout the celebration, we may take more specific shots, taking advantage of the surroundings, the sunset, or the decorations.
COCTAIL
During the cocktail party, I will remain faithful to my spontaneous and narrative style: arrival, toasts, congratulations, greetings…
But it’s also the perfect time to take those family and/or friend photos you don’t want to miss in your report.
They can be more or less informal, more or less prepared, or even completely spontaneous; it will be something we agree on a few days before your wedding.
THE MEAL AND SPEECHS
During the reception, I will take photographs of the most special moments, such as the bride and groom’s entrance, toasts, gift-giving, speeches, cake cutting, and more.
I would always appreciate it if you asked the venue managers to seat us at a table with visibility to anything that might happen.
NUPCIAL DANCE AND PARTY
The party begins, usually with the wedding dance.
The contract includes a minimum of one hour of party photography after the nupcial dance, but with complete flexibility, if the mood requires it, I’ll stay as long as necessary.
